Located in the stunning grounds of Powderham Castle Estate, on the banks of the Exe Estuary in South Devon, our family-owned Farm Shop and Bistro, complete with in-house Butchery, Delicatessen, and Post Office is not just a foodie destination, but a hub for shopping, relaxing and dining on locally-sourced and specialty food and drink produce.

Gold Awards for Powderham Farm Shop & Bistro

We’re incredibly proud to share some fantastic news! Powderham Farm Shop & Bistro have been recognised with multiple Gold Awards, celebrating our passion for great food, local produce and the very best of Devon.

We are delighted to announce that both the Farm Shop and Bistro have been awarded Gold in the Taste of the West Awards with our Butchers also receiving Gold awards for their Venison Burgers and Haunch Steaks. To top it all off, at this year’s Food Drink Devon awards, the Farm Shop won Gold and to top it all off won the Overall Retailer Award.

These awards are a wonderful recognition of the hard work and dedication of our team, our commitment to quality and our belief in championing fantastic local produce. From the carefully selected products on our farm shop shelves to the delicious dishes served in our bistro, we’re passionate about offering something special to every customer who visits us.

Our award-winning venison is something we’re particularly proud of, showcasing the quality, flavour and versatility of this wonderful meat. Whether you’re shopping for something special to cook at home or joining us for a bite to eat, quality and provenance are always at the heart of what we do.
